Fall color comes early to the peaks of Grandfather, so you don't have to wait until late in the month to see spectacular foliage. Visit the High Country on weekdays during October if you can. When you can only travel on peak weekends, we recommend you arrive at Grandfather Mountain before 10 am or plan to visit after 3 pm. |
